This is a classic Winchester M1 Garand rifle chambered in 30-06 Springfield. It features a 24-inch barrel, 8-round capacity, wing protected front sight, adjustable rear sight, canvas sling, bayonet lug, and walnut stock. A cleaning kit is included in the butt stock. Overall, this Garand is in good vintage condition with normal age-related wear throughout the barrel, receiver, gas tube, and stock. The stock has a repair near the bottom metal (see photos). Bore condition is good with strong rifling. The barrel is dated 1965 and was manufactured by Springfield Armory. The bolt and trigger assembly were also manufactured by Springfield Armory.
