This is an antique V.C. Schilling Kar88 carbine chambered in 8mm Mauser. It features a 19-inch barrel, 5-round capacity, wing protected front sight, folding ladder rear sight, and full-length wood stock. Overall, this carbine is in good condition with normal age related finish wear throughout the barrel and receiver. Bore condition is good with crisp rifling. The barrel jacket is dented on the left side toward the muzzle. The barrel shank is marked "S" which indicates that this carbine was updated for use of Spitzer bullets, and has an 1892 manufacture date. The serial numbers are mismatched and there are no import marks. This would be a good choice for military surplus collectors. Buy online today!
