This is a classic Spanish Mauser Model 1916 Short Rifle chambered in 7mm Mauser. It features a 22-inch barrel, 5-round internal magazine, adjustable rear sight, wing protected front sight, cleaning rod, and bayonet lug. Overall, this Mauser is in good vintage condition with age-related finish wear throughout the barrel and bolt. The receiver and bolt have matching serial numbers. The crest on the receiver ring is no longer visible. There are no visible import marks on this rifle. Bore condition is good with strong rifling.
