This is a vintage Schmidt-Rubin K31 rifle chambered in 7.5x55 Swiss. It features 24-inch barrel, 6-round detachable magazine, wing protected front sight, tangent rear sight, bayonet lug, and stacking rod. Overall, this K31 is in good vintage condition with normal age related finish wear. Bore condition is good with strong rifling. The barrel bears Century Arms import marks. The barrel, bolt, receiver, and magazine have matching serial numbers. Based on serial range, this rifle was manufactured in 1940. This would be a good choice for military surplus collecting.
