This is a used Rock Island Arsenal rifle chambered in 30-06 Springfield. It features a 24-inch barrel, 5-round capacity, claw extractor, folding ladder rear sight, hooded front sight, canvas sling, and bayonet lug. Overall, this Rock Island is in good vintage condition with normal handling marks on the stock. The receiver has been drilled and tapped and has a gouge on the right side. Bore condition is good with crisp rifling. Based on serial range, this Rock Island was manufactured circa 1919. The barrel was manufactured by Springfield Armory in 1944.
