This is a WW2-era Mauser K98 rifle chambered in 8mm Mauser. It features a 24-inch barrel, 5-round capacity, claw extractor, tangent rear sight, bayonet lug, cleaning rod, and steel buttplate. Overall, this Mauser is in good condition with normal age-related wear on the barrel, bolt, and stock. Bore condition is fair with strong rifling with a counter bored muzzle. The receiver ring has a BYF manufacture code and a 43 date, indicating that this rifle was manufactured by Mauser in 1943. The receiver and bolt have been forced matched. An I.O. Inc. import mark is discreetly located on the barrel. This would be a good choice for military surplus collecting. Buy online today!
