Hollis & Sheath 8 Bore Black Powder Shotgun - Used in Fair Condition

This is an antique Hollis & Sheath percussion shotgun chambered for 8 bore black powder loads. It features 36-inch barrels, external hammers, double triggers, and wooden ramrod. Overall, this shotgun is in fair condition with moderate age-related finish wear throughout the stock and barrels. The bottom rib is starting to separate from the barrels. Both bores are in fair condition with moderate pitting and corrosion. The trigger for the left barrel appears to have been repaired at some point. The barrels feature English proofs and the lock is marked "Hollis & Sheath" on both sides. This shotgun was manufactured around the 1840s-1850s. This gun is being sold as-is for display purposes.
