This is a used Chinese Hanyang Type 88 rifle chambered for 8mm Mauser (round bullets only). It features a 29-inch barrel, 5-round capacity, tangent rear sight, bayonet lug, and sling swivels. Overall, this Type 88 is in fair condition with moderate finish wear throughout the barrel, receiver, and stock. The handguard has multiple cracks and the extractor is missing. The chamber has been plugged and there is no rifling left in the barrel. Based on code 29, this rifle was manufactured in 1940. This gun is being sold as-is for display purposes.
